Hydrangea Photo 6090
Hydrangeas, are my favourite flowers – they come in all sorts of colours and varieties but I love the blue ones the best.
The shade of blue is just mental – how does nature produce it? (that’s a rhetorical question, I know that the colours of hydrangea are dependant on the acidic content of the soil, lol).
What colour exactly would you describe it as – I call it ‘powder blue’?
The whole bush is just fascinating – full of big heads of powder blue flowers.
I take lots of inspiration from nature and love photographing flowers – so many vibrant colours.
Taken at The Butterfly Farm, Seaforde Gardens, Northern Ireland!
